We found Mead's on a fluke after going to Waterbom park during the day, we got a voucher and had just been talking about where to go for dinner which wasn't too far from our hotel in Nusa Dua (due to the horrendous traffic in bali at the moment). We were greated by Alfie, who was very nice. We were served by a lovely Balinese lady who looked very rushed, and informed us they were understaffed for the night. We were seated around 4 other Australian families which made us feel very welcome and comfortable. The mozzies however, did not. Our own fault obviously, our hotel is fogged and we haven't had to worry about them. However the waitress noticed me scratching and offered me some repellent which I was very thankful for! An Australian lady at a table next to us told me the owner, Warren Mead was very sick with dengue fever (from mozzies) which was a bit of a worry! The Menu was great. Lots of different options, easy to read and easy to choose from lots of delicious food. I settled with surf and turf, which was absolutely delicious!! My partner had a chicken pizza which he said was also great. We had dessert, which was also pretty good however I think there should be more options and considering the quality of the other food, should maybe be a bit nicer.
Otherwise we had a great dinner at Mead's, we got free shuttle service back to our hotel and had a nice evening in general.

We are very pleased to hear you both enjoyed the food & service so much.
Unfortunately the mosquito problem in Bali will never disappear, especially this time of the year. We spray our restaurant early every evening & our staff will always offer our customers repellent if required. It is not easy to control in an open air restaurant.
Rest assured, Mr Warren Mead is very well again & happy to be back in the restaurant speaking to & serving customers.
