Description: The Corbie Inn is a recently refurbished and re-opened pub/restaurant situated close to the Bo'ness & Kinneil Railway line. In the summer you will be able to waive to the passing trains on their way to and from Birkhill Clay Mine from the beer garden. The objective and vision has always been to offer the best of real ales and cask beers from local, regional and national breweries at value-for-money prices. Beers are available in pint, 1/2 pint and 1/3 pint measures so you can taste & try and enjoy a selection from the 6 ales on tap. The pub also offers a family-friendly atmosphere where children are welcome and can be served meals until 9pm when accompanied by an adult. A children's menu is available but children are welcome to choose and can be served half-portion meals of their choice from the main menu. Booking for meals is not a requirement but is sometimes advisable especially at weekends and if a set time is preferred.

If you are after pub grub and a good pint of beer, look no further.
The small bar has excellent fare at excellent prices, nothing fancy just good honest food. Added to this you can wash it all down with a pint of real ale, some of which are actuall brewed on the premises.
I have been several times with family and friends and loved it, just don't order too much as the portions are generous. To be honest I don't know how they can do it for the money, but I'm glad they do.

Hi Jeff, good to know you've been a number of times and been happy with both the food and the beer each time.

Excellent fare at excellent prices, washed down by a good pint of beer brewed on the premises as well. Exactly what we try to offer and hopefully we can continue to do just that.

As far as the generous portions are concerned, they might be, but everyone seems to manage to finish their main course ok and still have room for a slice of our very popular 'cheesecake' ;-)

Thanks for the kind words!

“Real Ale in Bo'ness”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 6, 2013

The on site micro-brewery makes very good beer and there's always a great selection of guest real ales too. Food is good value and the staff are friendly and welcoming.

“The best local restaurant ever!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 18, 2012

Albeit quint it is big on personality and atmosphere. As soon as you walk in you are hit with a blast of joy from the explosive atmosphere. The service is brilliant and the food is brilliant.

“Well presented, extensive range of whiskies and food decent enough”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 16, 2012

The Inn has obviously been recently renovated and is very comfortable, clean and welcoming inside. The food is fairly standard pub grub but was cooked well and seemed fresh. Only minor complaint was that my scampi seemed to have been cooked in slightly old oil. Staff were very friendly and they have a massive array of good whiskies - if you are a connoisseur.

“Great homely food and superb choice of real ales”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 9, 2012

Have visited The Corbie Inn on numerous occasions as it's near where I live. Never been disappointed with either the food, which is cooked to order, or the ales.
Beware of just turning up to get fed though, it's highly recommended that you book ahead.
Great place to meet with friends for a blether over a nice pint with no loud music to spoil things.
Try it, it's well worth it.

Your headline says it all Gavin, thanks. That is exactly what we had in mind when we opened; somewhere with good homely food and a good selection of real ales, both local and from further afield, all at an affordable price.

And, where if you just want a blether over a nice pint you can, without having to compete with either a jukebox or tv blaring in the corner that's nobody's watching. That ones always been a bugbear and not something we were going to do!
