“You can't beat the view!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 31, 2013 via mobile

This is another hard working establishment on Moorea. The owner runs a free shuttle service for the hotels on this side of the island and the waitresses seem to run back and forth without breaking a sweat. Good kids menu and a decent selection of good simple food at reasonable prices. Wines are good, but there's nothing like eating poisson cru with a cold beer at sunset on the waterfront!

“Best place for a sunset meal”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2013

One of our tour guides mentioned Le Sunset when we asked about a place to eat and see the sunset.

The service was really friendly, and the food was amazing. Portion sizes are big and you get real value for money here.

We had a table outside and had a clear night for a perfect sunset!
Made for a very nice evening out, would definitely recommend.

“Dinner on the patio”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2013

We had an early dinner here in January 2013, just before sunset. Our hotel arranged a ride and they picked us up right on time and we waited maybe a 5 minutes for a drive back to the resort. We got one of the picnic tables out on the patio. They started us with fresh French bread and a homemade flavoured oil for dipping and a small bowl of delicious marinated olives. I had a ham and cheese wood fired pizza, which was good using emmenthal cheese and Moorea pineapple for a unique flavour. My husband had shrimp with coconut curry sauce which he said was fantastic. We were too full for dessert. One note is that after dark, there were some bugs, so you may want to bring some bug spray for your feet just in case. But it had been very rainy when we were on Moorea. We didn't get bites even without bug spray but they were just starting when we left. Our dinner was about $55 without drinks.

“best restaurant on Moorea”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 14, 2013

We ate here twice in 5 days, once for lunch and once for dinner. We had pizza and a salad for lunch. YUMMY. Great view and great service. We then went for dinner. I was going to order mahi mahi when the owner recommended the Papiotte (spelling?). It was FABULOUS. One of the best fish dishes I've ever had. It was simply prepared with a nice green bean side. The value is very great for the price as well, considering it is Moorea. This was an all over great experience.
