It's already been 2 weeks since we left the magical world of Eileen and her husband, and we haven't recovered from our week we spent in the Princess Lokelani suite, our minds still impregnated from the charm, sense of peace and "heaven-on-earth" feel of this place. You will be pampered and spoiled with flowers, beauty everywhere and succulent cuisine, like in no other resort; each breakfast and dinner opening up the doors of new delicious flavours and tastes. I have travelled to many beautiful corners of this world and without thinking twice, this unique place on earth earns the palm of the loveliest by far. Believe me, it won't leave you cold. The only thing you need to worry about this place is that it will make it very difficult to leave and come back to your daily life.

After spending 6 nights in the Princess Lokelani Suite, I understand why everyone one else has reviewed Fenua Mataioa they way they have. Eileen's warmth and quirky sense of style, Serge's excellence in the kitchen and the way they seem to have captured a sense of peace and tranquility throughout the property is just amazing. That is before you even consider the setting. Just breath taking! Sure, it's not the Hilton - and there will be people that prefer the sterile chrome buildings and stark rooms that are the same all over the world - but for those brave souls who are unafraid of beauty; this is the only place to stay in Moorea! If I was told tomorrow that I had 6 months left to live, I would sell everything I owned to spend my last days on earth in the Princess Lokelani Suite. I travel extensively and have yet to find anywhere that can compete with the charm, grace and setting that Eileen and Serge have in this little slice of heaven.
