We stayed at the Harvest Home, as we were attending a Wedding at the Horn of Plenty. As soon as we arrived, we were made to feel at home, and very welcome indeed, There are 2 en-suite rooms, and we had the one facing the road. The room was amazing, large, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. It had a large comfortable bed, with a leather sofa in the room. There was little to no noise at all from the minor passing traffic. Our hosts were very friendly, very down to earth and accommodating. Unfortunately, we didn't get to sample their home made pies, but the menu was mouth watering ... home made steak & kidney pie, Steak & Ale Pie, Sole, Lamb cutlets ... mmmm mmmm ... but if the breakfast we had the following morning was anything to go by, I am 100% certain they would have all been delicious !! The HH is centrally located and an excellent base for exploring. We are definitely coming back ......

Room Tip: There are only two rooms here, but I couldn't choose between them - they were fantastic.

Although this delightful little treasure seems to be in the middle of nowhere it's definitely not. This free house sits on an intersection at the midpoint of a hill so the front rooms are exposed to lots of traffic noise at all hours (seems like ony 2 - 4 am were quiet).

Despite this, the room was AMAZING; great bed, lots of room, wonderful ensuite ... the service was unequalled. The owners could not do enough for you and the food was truly wonderful. This is exceptionally close to Tavistock in Devon and also very close to many great venues in Cornwall as well as Portsmouth and Exeter not too far away. The scenery was sublime also. plenty of parking available and free wi-fi.

We stayed for 3 nights bed and breakfast. The bedroom and bathroom were beautifully furnsihed and large. Very comfortable bed, flat sctreen TV. Although the room overlooks the road, there was little traffic noise. The area is very pretty too with lots of things to do nearby. Tracey and Jeremy were very helpful and good hosts. Breakfasts were very good with local produce. I asked for fruit and was provided with a really good selection. A really friendly and comfortable place to stay.

Room Tip: Only two rooms to choose from. I was both and they were similar in quality.

We had such a great time at Harvest Home whilst attending our daughter's wedding in Tavistock. We stayed for 4 nights and the owners Jeremy and Tracy are the nicest people we have met anywhere. You had this wonderful personal service, the food was fantastic and the accomodation was beautifully clean and comfortable. Great views from all directions. We would recommend Harvest Home to everyone who is looking for a relaxing holiday or even an overnight stay. We will definately be going back in the future.

Room Tip: Either room is equally comfortable and spotlessly clean.
