“Great Hotel...”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2013

This hotel is great..! The rooms are comfortable and pretty big! and very very clean wich is very important for us!

The breakfast was awesome with a large variety..!
the restaurant had great dishes and fresh products!
the pool area is a perfect place to relax and drink your coffee and your coctail as the sun sets with view of the sea in front of you!
Also the staff was very polite and always in the mood to help us out to anything!
So it's a great choice for your vacations or business!

Room Tip: Sea view rooms..! If i remember right the most rooms are sea view 90 % of the rooms...

Stayed at Heliotrope for 17 nights. My stay here was made most enjoyable. Great location and the staff are the best! Even the owners mingle with their guests and are most helpful. The rooms were large for a European hotel and the breakfast was very good. Have been to Mytiline 3 times & when I come again I will definitely stay at, the 'Heliotrope'.

Regards Nick

It's a ten minutes/eight kilometers easy ride to mytilini city from the hotel and the local bus service is rather poor. I suppose most of the visitors are on a tour of some kind, and a bus is available for them, so transportation is not much problem for them. The rooms, their size, furniture, cleannes, breakfast saloon, etc. was satisfying. Pool not too large, yet clean. The beach is just acroos the road. Wifi internet and satellite tv without problem. Nothing much to see nearby. Planes sometimes may be noisy for the airport is a few kilometers away. Rooms overlooking the pool can be noisy. But they are the ones with the balconies and the view. I have been to lesvos island four times, and this hotel is one of the best in lesvos. I recommend strongly not to leave the island without seeing Eressos, it is definitely the most beautiful spot with it's restaurants, and the very long sandy/pebbly beach.

The hotel is located in front of the seaside of Vrachia village. Just approx. 3 km away from the airport and 4 km from Mytilini City center is a perfect place to stay. All rooms have view at the swimming pool and most of them to the sea. The staff is polite and helpful. Rooms are clean and quite comfort. I met also quests of the hotel that travelling in Lesvos Island for business. Generally, quests of the hotel are families and couples (mostly during summer period) and business people (all months of the year). The swimming pool is very clean but the sitaution during the day looks like a "kindergarden" (a lot of noise). Braekfast is good with a variety of foods but it should be improved if we consider that HELIOTROPE Resopt is demonstated as a 4 stars hotel. A really important proplem is that the area of pool and all teh place around is used from teh administartion of the hotel for events (christenings, weddings etc). At the certain days, the stuff removes approx. the half from reclining chairs around the pool from early morning in order to put the necessary tables and chairs for teh events that are going to take place the same day's evening!!! On top of that the music of the events stops after 12:00 pm and it is really annoying as even with closed windows of room, you cannot relax or sleep... I suppose that these events are nice business for the owner of the hotel but should be organized away from the pool without annoy the guests of the hotel.

Room Tip: If you want to relax staying at the hotel public areas (like swimming pool) or enjoy the piano (ever...

Spent one night here whilst waiting to for a flight. The hotel was good value. It was very clean. The rooms were big. They had a nice balcony with view of the pool area and the sea. The hotel staff were polite and helpful. The breakfast was great, with a big selection of foods on offer. I would stay in this hotel again and would recommend it to anyone.

My wife and I spent 9 days there, it was for my wifes birthday and our anniversary. Our room overlooked the ocean and was roomy and very comfortable. An initial problem with the balcony shutter was repaired in a timely manner and correctly. The breakfast buffet is plentiful and has a lot of options to include almost any coffee you could want. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. I try to walk every morning and the area has a pathway along the ocean that goes on for miles. Great hotel.

Room Tip: Rooms away from the pool are quieter.

Nice recently renovated hotel. Just infront the beach outside Mytilene in a peacefull area. Nice rooms well decorated, they provide all the usual facility. Nice view from the balcony. Good breakfast. Open pool infront of the hotel.
