“Just Perfect!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 1, 2012

From personal touches such as a champange arrival to marshmellows for toasting on the fire - every little detail had been thought of to make our stay just perfect! I booked this for my husbands 30th and it lived up to all expectations for our first glamping experience. The owners are just lovely and nothing is too much trouble, but at the same time they give you all the space you need to make you feel like your the only people there! The outdoor shower was great - even in September!!
Such a stunning place, with great views and warm, cosy, boutique like tents - I could not recommend it more.

Thank you Glampers for your kind words and positive comments. For 2013 we would like to mention that our Rhos Uchaf and Cae Ffynnon tents will be pitched slightly lower down the meadows than in 2012. Sadly, this is not our decision – but our local Planning Authority, like us, agree that we want to preserve this Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. A minor compromise in terms of scenic views from the tents themselves, but they will be favourably less exposed to the elements. They will still retain their great amount of privacy. Our picnic tables, showers, toilet and all paths within the site will still having stunning views of Snowdonia and the surrounding countryside.

This place truly has it all. From the moment you make your way down the driveway and catch a glimpse of the bell tents each in seperate fields, you know you're in for a treat.

As a group of 6, who headed to North Wales for a bithday trip, we were lucky enough to rent the entire glampsite. This meant when we arrived we were greeted with sparkling wine, strawberries and cakes to celebrate the birthdays, and even had baloons on the wheelbarrows provided to ferry stuff to and from the tents.

The tents - well, where do you start?! Asides from the view, which is completely breathtaking and spell binding, you are equipt with absolutely everything you could ever need (and more!) all to a fantastically high standard. You do not have to compromise in the sightest on this camping trip, of anything it'll be better than home.

As a group, we spent a significant time in the communal barn eating, drinking, playing games an generally putting the world to rights. The barn, as with the tents, could not be better equipt. What's more, you can wander down the path opposite and take advantage of the blackberries on offer or lift up the lid on the chicken run to see if there are any spare eggs for breakfast.

If you are lucky enough to go and stay at seventh heaven (if you can find a date they have available!) we would definitely recommend visiting the Tŷ Coch inn ( to get there, ask Karen, she has the postcode memorised so you can whack it in the sat nav). You'll arrive at a golf course, and after a beautiful 20 minute easy going walk, you'll arrive at the most beautiful, secluded and relaxed pub you'll have ever seen. You'll never want to leave.

The only negative of our stay was that we only had two days there! It most certainly isn't enough. Go for as long as possible!

Thank you to Karen and Mai for making it an unforgettable birthday.

I booked a 3 night stay this August and had a brilliant time. The yurts are really nice and we had fun using the wood burner and BBQ facilities outside the tent. Each yurt has its own field so we felt totally secluded. The best bit was the amazing scenery, sunsets and star gazing. We had a lovely welcome from the owners Mai & Karren. We had some of the worst rain on one of the nights but the yurt was nice and cosy and we had no leeks! We recommend a walk up Snowden which is spectacular.

We have just returned for one of the most relaxing weekends at the beautiful Seithfed Nef. It was truly a wonderful experience. We were looking for a break with a difference and we certainly made a great choice.

The location is breathtaking, with views of Snowdon right across the site. Having an streaming outside shower looking at Snowdon was certainly a highlight of the stay. The tent was so comfortable (the bed was great) and had everything you could possibly need, including towels and all utensils. Every time I thought 'it would be handy if we had one of those,' I opened a draw to find what I was looking for. We even had a selection of board games and magazines to read.

Karen and Mei really are fantastic hosts and certainly go the extra mile to make you feel welcome and make your stay as comfortable as possible. I e-mailed Karen extensively before the stay about the facilities and shops in the local area, to which she replied with detailed lists of what they provide and postcodes of the best place to buy local cheese. They provided such a warm welcome and even provided fresh eggs and local sausages for breakfast on the first day.

The tent was so cosy when we lit the stove and the tea light chandelier which created the most romantic atmosphere. It really was difficult to drag ourselves away to explore the beautiful area.

If you are thinking about giving Glamping a try, go to Seithfed Nef and enjoy the breathtaking scenery, luxurious tent and most importantly, an incredibly warm welcome from Karen and Mei - you won't be disappointed.

Our 3 night visit to Seithfed Nef was one of the best holiday experiences we have ever had. We came to crash out after our wedding in Llanrwst, and we're amazed by how well we were looked after throughout our stay. Mei and Karen gave us the warmest welcome imaginable, with strawberries, bubbly and a wedding card and gift! They even tied wedding bows to our wheelbarrow. Nothing was too much trouble throughout our visit, but we were also left in peace and privacy and felt we were the only people for miles around. Each tent is in it's own field (hence the wheelbarrow to transport your things) and has amazing views of Snowdonia and the sea. The tents are very luxurious, and better equipped than a 5* hotel room. There were marshmallows for toasting on the wood burning stove, welsh ale and cider and a fire pit and picnic bench for BBQs. The bed was sooo comfortable, and we loved little touches like the rugs for sitting infront of the fire, the tea light candelabra and the games and books provided. The communal facilities are also outstanding. We loved the hot outdoor shower, with views of the mountains, and also the barn with a gorgeous farm kitchen and hay bales to sit and relax on. Mei and Karen even made pancakes for us one morning and left us sausages from their pigs and eggs from the chickens for our breakfast. Our entire break was perfect, the local area is stunning and there is so much to see and do. We hope to come back next year to celebrate our first anniversary. Thank you for a very special honeymoon.

We visited Seithfed Nef in early July to get away from it all for a couple of days - and we couldn't have wished for a more beautiful holiday location. The bell tents are surprisingly spacious and as well appointed as luxury hotel rooms. We stayed in Rhos Uchaf, a tent with spectacular views of Snowdon. It would be completely impossible to overdo the accolades - Karen and Mei have absolutely nailed the entire Glamping concept; it was camping but in complete glamour and comfort with every need catered for. They really have thought of everything and it shows. There is a composting loo and an inside shower - but best of all, there is an outside shower - private but open to the elements - which I used and absolutely loved! Having a hot shower under a tree whilst looking at Snowdon is a wonderful experience! We spend the whole of our break at Seithfed Nef mooching about the 8 acre site, chilling in the converted barn, playing games, reading, relaxing, enjoying the beautiful views, capitalising on all the amazing photo opportunities and came away happy, refreshed and recharged. Highly, highly recommended.

Room Tip: Rhos Uchaf has the best views, I think, but all of the tents are fantastic with amazing views so don...

We spent the weekend at Seithfed nef for a birthday suprise my fiancé arranged for me. It was perfect! The bell tent was amazing, so clean and comfy. Like staying in a 5* hotel but in a field. Karen and Mei who own the place were great, nothing was too much trouble and the weather was sunny and hot and so it wouldn't suprise me if they arranged that as well. :)
Communal areas, including shower and toilets were comfortable and clean, not like a normal campsite that's for sure.
I could go on and on but basically my verdict is go and stay for yourselves, you wont be disappointed!

Room Tip: Go for the tent in the top field, great views!
