“"A WONDERFUL PLACE TO LIVE IN"”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 23, 2012

I have stayed there for two times. Those was grate experience to share with. Even though the approach road to entrence is not attractive and of not a good feel, the service and the co-operation from the side of management something which need to be appreciated.I stayed in the deluxe a/c room. rooms are very clean and neat and also the room service is excellent. Even though they are not having a restaurent, they provide good food in the room. Oh!! man this is a place you must be stayed at least once....

I stayed here for one night (2012 Oct 14), in a non-air single-occupancy room.
Pros:
Hotel bang in the middle of downtown, 1 min from bus stand, which is a big plus.
Very clean rooms, sheets and towels.
Nice furniture, bathroom fittings very modern and stylish (fyi, no toilet paper, as in most Indian hotels).
Very cheap at Rs. 750 for such a room.
Hotel started a few months ago and everything is still clean now (Oct 2012). Hope they maintain it that way.
Cons:
1) Hot water thru solar geyser only in the morning. You end up running cold water for ages before it becomes lukewarm.
2) No restaurant because they will then have to charge 20% tax instead of the current 12.5%. But vegetarian and non-vegetarian restaurants nearby. Tea is brought from a nearby restaurant in about 15 minutes (the roomboy will come back in 5 min to ask for the glass!)
3)Noisy if any guest begins to talk in the hallway as there is a small slit under the door and sound gets magnified because of the lack of carpets.
4) The muezzin from nearby mosques starts the prayer call on loudspeakers at 5 a.m., a problem you will face in any hotel in Kerala.
5) Will accept only cash (as on Oct 2012) and probably unlikely to take credit cards. Bank ATMs nearby.

Patients heading to nearby Kenichira to attend Dr. M.V.Prasad's "Friends of Diabetes" (the doctor who prescribes sweets for diabetics) programmes stay here regularly, getting a small discount.

We stayed here for one night and day in their deluxe a/c room. A budget accomodation with very spacious and neat rooms. Value for your money. Manager is pleasing and helpful. Even though they don't have a restaurant, the tea was served within no time on our request. I recommend this hotel.

stayed for a couple of nights last week in this newly opened hotel (2 months old is what i was told). my reservation was well handled, room neat, clean n brand new, in fact the furniture still smells of the wood polish. since they do not have a restaurant as of now, they provided room service and the food was lovely, even though a few items i ordered were not available. some suggestions however, which maybe the management knows or are already looking into it. * start a restaurant ASAP. * hot water is provided only in the mornings, maybe extended throughout the day. * a small list of contact numbers from the room (e.g reception, room service, housekeeping etc). i would surely recommend this new property. * the approach road to the hotel entrance could be looked into as well. all in all a nice place to stay.

Tucked away from the busy highway but just at a stone throw away there's a chic , neat , spacious well planned with good car parking space energetic service resort called GreenPalace.

As its just two month old there's still a lot like restaurant ,credit card payment still to be provided. The tariff is also on the higher side.
