This hotel is on the edge of the village of Ayna. It's the only hotel in the village although there are a few Casa Rurals. The village looks as though it's precariously perched on the cliff face and the route in and out of the village is very twisty turny.
You enter the hotel via a set of steps from the car park into the reception area. The bar and dining room are also on this level. Most of the rooms are on the floor above this and I think there were also some rooms on a lower floor. Most of the rooms overlook the valley with fantastic views. Try not to get the rooms overlooking the car park.
Our room was very comfortable with two twin-beds (although we'd asked for a double), an en-suite bathroom and a balcony. Everything was very clean. Extra pillows were provided on request.
Breakfast was a bit sparse but that seems to be the same in most Spanish hotels. There was a choice of tapas in the bar or a meal in the restaurant. The food was OK if not spectacular. There are a few other bars and restaurants in the village nearby but we didn't try these.
All in all, a reasonable hotel for a two-star standard.
