We stayed in the self contained wing of the establishment. For a few days it is perfect, but no longer as there is only a microwave/convection oven, fridge and some crockery and cutlery. Enough to do breakfast or simple evening meal. There is a bedroom with a lovely king size bed, lounge area and bathroom. All clean and well presented. Heated floor so never cold.
We took our dog so bowl and throw was provided.
Across the road is access to the Mere and lovely walks, however that also came with geese that crossed the road and crapped all around our car! The other downside is the building is on the main road with quite a bit of traffic.
The town is quite nice, but the only bad thing I could say is we found none of the pubs which had food allowed the dog in.
