We went there in Dec 2012, as part of a Taiwan tour and stayed for one night. It was a great place to stay in and we enjoyed the natural thermal springs. There was this ginseng thermal spring, jasmine spring, milk bath etc,..
Make sure you have a cap to go into the spa, or you will need to buy one. All of the thermal bath/spas are very hot! Just be careful and take a bottle of water to replenish yourself as it might be dangerous for those elderly or those with medication. There is a pool if you want to swim and stretch your limbs after a relaxing dip in the hot thermal spring...but who needs it. Not me. There is also a pond of fish which will tickle and relax you while the fish will nibble and clean up your foot. So footie treatment and massage if you like.
Morning breakfast was a good one with lots of variety and lots of chinese food which I loved. Also buffet was nicely spread out with many hot dishes and European style ones..
Only thing to be noted is that there is no elevator or lift for those staying on the upper storeys and could pose a struggle for those with lots of baggage. But be firm and ask the bellboys, who were helpful and carry it for you to your level.
