“Zion Park Setting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 7, 2012 via mobile

After a bad dinner at one of the local hotel we decided to go to Zion Lodge for breakfast. Zion National Park is great and we were hoping that the lodge food would be the same. Well as you noticed we gave it 5 stars. They accommodated the 15 people we had very fast and close together. There buffet was priced right and the food was excellent. We enjoyed it so much that while in the park that day we had lunch and dinner. Looking forward next time to stay at the lodge because of the beautiful setting.

“Overall Very Good Meals”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 28, 2012

The setting is ideal, especially on a sunny afternoon. Lunch on the outdoor deck under the red Navajo sandstone cliffs, what could be more relaxing? This reflects the park setting more than the restaurant itself. Over the 5 meals I had here, 4 of 5 were very good. The vegetarian pasta was the only exception being sour tasting and containing a large proportion of pasta. All the other meals including lunch and the breakfast buffet were very good. Staff were attentive and friendly. The 2 types of beers I had were great.

The snack bar/lunch counter serves more standard fast food-like fare including burgers, sandwiches, salads and drinks. Although I enjoyed the black bean burger, there are no other spots within the park for lunch, so your choices are limited unless you travel into Springdale.

“Great Food; Wonderful staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 16, 2012

Had the Bison Meatloaf and the Ribs. Both were very good. They have a very fresh salad bar with plenty of selections and good soup selections. Staff is terrific and very attentive. Enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere.
They have a lounge to the side of the restaurant, but it is not what I would have expected. No windows and very small; no bar area, just a few small tables and a tv.

“Breakfast Buffet!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 3, 2012

Anything you could think of for breakfast, juice, coffee, pastries, eggs, sausage, bacon, potatoes, pancakes, biscuits, gravy......you get the idea.....all for $10.95. Did I mention yogurt, cereal, granola, oatmeal.........? Great service, lovely view of the lodge grounds and canyon walls.

“I was surprised”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2012

To find such great food at a National Park. I was expecting typical mass produced fare, but was pleasantly surprised to find an imaginative menu with more options than just a salad for those that don't eat meat. The waiter even supplied the basic material to make my own
"fry sauce", a Utah staple which they don't serve in this restaurant.
