We booked this lodge only because it was available at a very short notice and moreover it was within the park limits. I did call the reception about a week ago to check if there were any options for vegetarians. The receptionist gave long list of things we could eat and also mentioned that we can checkout after we eat lunch next day. They did not emphasise on the limited time they offer for dinner (6pm - 7pm). We checked-in when it was 7.10pm and they said we could help ourselves with leftovers. All they had was 8-10 veggie patties out of which we had to make burger. I saw a bowl full of rice being taken inside but they said nothing was left. Very Unprofessional!! They do have freezer where leftovers are stacked and mostly they were meat.
However with half filled stomach we decided to enjoy our stay. It was dusk when we spotted few mule deers and did some fishing. Residents have access to kayaking, boating and fishing. There are many life vests stacked for all ages. Plenty of chairs to watch the serene lake. Residents have access to light snacks and coffee/milk machine all the times. Since there is nothing much to do inside room (no TV inside room) most of them spend time in lounge where they are some indoor games, children book and magazines. The rooms are nothing great but we did miss the "noise" (atleast lucky there!!) that many other have experienced. My kiddo was excited about the bunk beds!!
