This was the second time I've been to Bear Paw, this time with 9 other friends who were equally enthralled with the place! Chad and Michael prepared great meals and always had good information on the area, the hikes and the history of Bear Paw. Beds were comfortable and the kerosene lamps made you feel at home. Extra blankets provided "cushions" for us when we laid on the warm granite to watch the meteor shower at night. We stayed two nights and hiked to Hamilton Lake where we all went swimming in the pristine water-- a definite must do if you have time to go there (8 miles round trip). While we initially thought this was a pricey way to "glamp", it was well worth every penny and we will definitely be back!
