“So so food”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 7, 2013

(Breakfast)
We had the breakfast buffet adults $13, kids $6.50 - it was pricey but we expected that. They had eggs, bacon, sausage, cut up fruit (honeydew, canteloupe), oatmeal, assorted pastries, french toast, pancakes, bagels, toast.
(Dinner)
The second night, we had reservations for dinner at the Peaks Restaurant (inside the lodge) - the food was just okay and pricey but again we knew this going in and had planned accordingly, spent $100 for 2 adults and 2 kids including dessert. I asked the server what cut of meat the flat iron steak was - she had no idea and went to ask, when she returned
she told me it was top sirloin - I knew at least that much that she was incorrect. The views from the dinning area are amazing though.
Overall the food was just okay and very overpriced. We probably wouldn't eat here again, would go to Lodgepole market/deli instead.

“Overpriced.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

First off, the chairs are far too uncomfortable to enjoy dinner. Secondly, the food wasn't that good to charge us extra for a side salad. The place was hot on the day we visited and overall it was a terrible resturant that needs a better menu, lower prices, and better seating.

“Yum! Yum!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

The beer was cold, the food was great.. salmon burger, sweet potato fries and ice cream to die for [honey & lavender - very unusual]. The waiter was a great laugh and bent over backwards to be helpful and friendly. The view from the restaurant was brilliant too. You can get free wifi in the foyer too.

“Good food and nice atmosphere”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2013

If you are staying at the Wuksachi Lodge having breakfast and dinner at The Peaks Restaurant is an obvious choice. And you will not be disappointed. The food is good and the prices - compared to the location and lack of nearby competition - not at all too bad. The atmosphere is nice, even when the restaurant is packed with guests. There is a nice view of the forest from the restaurant windows.
Making reservations for a table at a specific time is recommended when you check-in at the hotel - and if you arrive too early for your meal or the table for other reasons is not quite ready yet, you can wait in the lobby and buy a drink at the bar. The breakfast is quite good also. If you only need a light breakfast you have the option of choosing a continental for a reduced price.

“Overpriced salty stale food nice atmosphere”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 21, 2013 via mobile

They get you. You stay there and it is your only option for food. Menu looks good but food was just so-so. Ate on a Sunday and they were out of many menu items Apple cobbler was cold and stale. Would recommend purchasing your food at lodgepole. Too bad. Was looking forward to a nice meal.
