So, usually these places are ok at best. They know you have no other options if you would like to eat. Read the reviews I expected the same just below average food and service. I was pleasantly
surprised! The service was friendly and prompt. We enjoyed all of our dinners. All were cooked perfectly. They were able to accommodate our dietary restrictions without complaint. We did almost have a situation when they could not find our reservation the first night and next available seating was at over 2 hours later. They found the reservation a few minutes later so crisis was averted. I would strongly suggested making a reservation in advance as suggested on the hotel website. They will also ask if you would like to make a reservation upon hotel check-in. The hotel was sold out and there were many hungry and annoyed people sitting in the lobby waiting to eat with no reservation.

Terrible service, average food (though you get a lot of it). It is the only full service restaurant in the park. The waitstaff and bartender don't care about service (I guess because they have to live on property and they are the only game in town). They do have free WiFi in the lodge and restaurant.

A good restaurant in a great park. The best restaurant in any National Park I have been in, well except for Yosemite, and Glacier, and Grand Canyon, and...OK, it's good enough OK.

Food, service and prices were fine. The service was outstanding and the view from the dining room spectacular. Highly recommended.
