“above and beyond”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 13, 2013

We took our grandkids (age 6 and 8) during our trip to King's Canyon. They had toured the cave two years prior and were excited to visit again. Our tour guide was really enthusiastic and made sure the kids had a good experience. When exiting the cave, I took off my jacket and my camera tumbled down a huge ravine that was littered with leaves and rocks and fenced off from the public. (very steep) The tour guide took my email in case the camera would ever be found. I was so amazed to get an email a couple of days later stating that a member of the staff had recovered it and it would be mailed to me. The camera was full of precious photos from our trip. Really above and beyond usual customer service!!

“Off the beaten path”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 10, 2013

This cave is not as heavily trafficked as Crystal Cave, which is nice. The tour is also a little shorter. The hike up to the cave entrance is a bit steep, but not nearly as long as the hike to Crystal Cave. The big attraction here is that on the way out of the cave, you can chose which path you want to take back to the entrance. You can stay to the easy path you took in, or you can follow the dry riverbed "adventure" path. My husband and 4 1/2 year old daughter took the adventure path which wound below the easy path where I could take pictures of them from above.

“Steep”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2013

Steep hike up and scary. Not good for small children. Steep coming down. Not for someone with health concerns. Several places inside are narrow.

“Neat to see”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 8, 2013

We live near Mammoth Cave so this cave wasn't that special to us. If you have never been to a cave it is interesting and a great place to cool off. The walk to the cave entrance is very steep. The best part was our tourguide. She was very excited about her job and made the tour fun!!

“Boyden Cavern Tour”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 3, 2013

Our family went to this tour to Boyden Cavern with Tesia Vang as our guide. She was awesome by explaining with great details everything about the history and geology of it. This is a place you must go when you visit Sequoia National Park.
