Cedar Grove Lodge was wonderful, and the setting is absolutely beautiful. The staff is super friendly, and the food was way better than expected. We brought a "picnic" style dinner our first night and ate by the river which was awesome. The hotel gets super noisey in the morning when people are in the hall, so take that into consideration. It's close to lots of hikes, but it's a much quieter area than Grants Grove which is nice. I would absolutely recommend staying here if you don't want to camp, and you don't need TV :).
