“A must see part of Kings Canyon!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 29, 2014

The walk is easy from the parking area and well worth it. So much history and so much to see. Make sure to take a camera, you will want it.

“Great sequoia-lined family trail”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 26, 2014

I liked the General Sherman visit too, but there was more to see at General Grant with the walk-through sequoia and lots of other sequoias to look at. Less crowded too.

“Another great grouping of sequoias”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2014

Like the General Sherman, the General Grant tree is another must-see while in the park. The trail was nice and paved - easy walking. There were some interesting downed trees that were cool to see while walking the trail - there's a tree you can walk through; that was pretty neat. There's also a cabin nearby that was used by settlers a long time ago.

“A Captivating, Colossal Column!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 20, 2014

An easy stroll along a paved path brings you to this breathtaking behemoth! At over 1600 years old, the General Grant is the third largest tree in the world.

Take your time and enjoy the majestic beauty of this tree and the surrounding grove. Visiting places like this always leave me full of hope and a renewed sense of respect for our planet!

Enjoy!
