“Fun trail and easy to enjoy!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 11, 2013

The Grant Grove is a beautiful grove of Sequoias with lots of big trees. The trail is maintained even in cold weather. Don't miss getting out for an easy, historical, and informative hike!

“A must for everyone”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2013 via mobile

Been there done that does not count here. Every time the trees always amaze us and the joy of young children or first timers always make it memorable. We have stories of every time and the are all unique and special. Will continue to come again and again, bringing new friends and family every time, while our group grows larger so do our memories.

The trail goes right through the giant sequoias. They have plaques, signs, historical buildings and other really great info about the history of the place.

“Amazing trees, made better by snow!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 12, 2013

Recently visited the Grant Grove of big Sequoia's and really enjoyed our walk. Trails were a bit slippery due to ice so be ready if the weather is cold and snowy!

“General Grant Tree Trail, Kings Canyon National Park”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 23, 2013

This well-maintained trail wanders through a grove of HUGE Sequoia trees. General Grant is the 2nd largest in the area, General Sherman being the largest by volume. Both are about 36 ft. in diameter and 200+ ft tall. Lovely area.
