“Fantastic!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 11, 2012

The place is awe-inspiring. Bring a camera. It's a good workout, too. The trail is safe enough for kids.

“Lots and Lots of BIG Trees....”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2012

If you like big trees then this is the place for you. All wrapped up in one trail. Really these trees can be seen all over the park; but its nice to see a lot of them in one location.

“Great Tree in a Nice Grove of Sequoias”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 21, 2012

At some point it becomes impossible for the human eye to distinguish which of these trees is larger. The Grant tree is in a larger, more interesting grove than the larger Sherman tree. It's right inside the north park entrance and well worth your time and effort to visit. Very nice visitors' center as well.

“Very nice grove”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 6, 2012

The General Grant Tree is within the Grant's Grove which was nice and quiet when we visited on a weekday in July. Amazing to think that the diameter was as wide as our house. The measurements just blow your mind. Beautiful tree and park. Once in a lifetime experience that would be great for young and old alike.

“Wonderful Tall Trees”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2012

This is a lovely grove of Giant Sequoias. You can walk trhu a fallen Sequoia, and the trails are wide and relatively easy to manuver. Parking lot is large, with restroomavailable, but it gets crowded after noon, so go early in the morning. There is a picnic grounds half-way to the grove called Colombine, with very nice restrooms.
