“Wonderful walk and majestic tree”

Beautiful spot to walk around, plenty of easy trails to wander through. Maybe 30-50 minute drive from the park entrance.

“Unbelievable and Beautiful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 21, 2012

Wow, that's about all that needs to be said. Thank heavens for people like John Muir, Abraham Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt, and all of the men and women who had the foresight to preserve such amazing beauty!!! If you haven't taken the time to check out these awe-inspiring trees, please go and see them. They definitely make you remember that we are just a "small" part of this wonderful planet. We followed the one day plan from Trip Advisor, and it was definitely worth it.http://c1.tacdn.com/img2/x.gifhttp://c1.tacdn.com/img2/x.gifhttp://c1.tacdn.com/img2/x.gifhttp://c1.tacdn.com/img2/x.gifhttp://c1.tacdn.com/img2/x.gif

“Breathtaking”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 16, 2012

This 2200 years old majestic tree leaves you speechless.

However, being in the midst of all the other sequoias, you lose some perspective as how large it truly is.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012

If you have never visited General Sherman tree in the Sequoia National Forest then you are missing out on one of the best wonders of the world. One of the oldest and largest living thing on earth is an awesome sight. It is a great photo opportunity for the family while passing through on a day trip or while camping out. A must see at least once in your lifetime.
