We always enjoy staying in cabins or lodges when we visit national parks, so we looked forward to our stay here. The location is a wooded area that has a nice meadow nearby where we watched multiple deer. Of course being in nature can cause a couple issues one might not encounter elsewhere. We had to deal with an aggressive raccoon that didn't seem to like us sitting on the cabin's deck. Once we chased it off it was quite enjoyable to sit out and marvel at the night sky. Once we went to bed we realized the catch and release trap in our cabin had been successful in its job--made it difficult to fall asleep until we found an employee to properly take and release the critter elsewhere. After that it was a nice restful night.
