We stayed in a cabin with no bathroom for two nights. The cabin was clean and adequate. It would not please someone who wanted a fancy place. These cabins are just as they describe them: basic. The showers and bathroom were a short walk away and were very clean. The grove as a whole was quiet when we were there so we never had to wait for a shower. Showers costed a $1.00 (in quarters) for three minutes. We found that the showers actually went quite a bit longer; although my husband's actually costed $1.25. We did learn early not to leave the door open as a squirrel tried to zip in. Nighttime was quiet We had dinner one night at the Grant Grove diner. Husband had chicken and ribs and said they were not good. I had a hamburger and it was ok. These cabins are ideally located for touring Sequoia/Kings Canyon. You are set up in the middle. We spent one day driving towards Moro Rock and the next day exploring Cedar Grove. The location along with the price ($89) makes this place a winner in my book.
