“Loved it!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed yesterday NEW

We used this hotel as our base for 2 nights in Kings Canyon and Sequoia and were very pleased with our choice. After a long drive we felt relaxed as soon as we drove onto the grounds and entered the attractive reception area. Rooms are in three buildings, a bit of a walk away from main building and carparks, but trollies are available for luggage.
Our room was quite large and very comfortable. Fully fitted out with comfortable beds and large bathroom. We thoroughly enjoyed two dinners in the restaurant and buffet breakfasts (choice of continental or full) at reasonable prices. Small bar and gift shop (selling wine!).
Minor criticisms for a balanced review: no room safe, no AC (but ceiling and plug-in fans), poor lighting for reading.
Heartily recommend and would definitely return.

We have stayed in quite a few lodges within national parks. This is a very new lodge and is very nice. We stayed in one of the superior rooms which have a separate sitting area. The rooms are decorated quite nicely and are very clean and well maintained. There is no air conditioning, but with the cool nights, at the altitude, they were not needed. Note that there is a walk uphill to all of the lodge rooms so make sure that you have luggage with wheels or use the available carts to haul your luggage to the rooms.

You can't ask for more beautiful surroundings & the room was clean & comfortable. The downside was that they had fans in the windows to bring fresh air in but they had placed an ash tray within 50 feet of our window & we could smell the smoke. There was no air conditioner to cool the room when the fan was off. The shower head was terrible in our room. No adjustment could make it into a good spray. The bed was comfortable & the sheets were wonderful. Towels were plush. My husband found the room info notebook to be a mess. All pages were loose in the book & the TV station guide was not up to date.
We did see two doe, fawns & a six point buck right outside our building.

Our stay was simply wonderful. It went by so fast that weren't able to take advantage of all of the out door adventures. Everyone was satisfied with the service, rooms & nature. If you have the opportunity to go don't pass it up!

Perfect location to visit Sequoia and Kings Canyon. The nature and wildlife is totally awesome. I love this location. Definitely come back someday.
Only the WiFi is very slow and there is no signal on the phone so expect no working Internet.

We just spent one night at the Wuksachi Loge but we really enjoyed it. Staff was friendly and we had our room in the Sequoia Building. Room was spacious and clean with views right into the woods. We had a quiet good nights sleep and in the early morning you can hear the birds tweeting around. There is plenty of free parking available. We even had free WiFi in the room working not on high speed but still working reliable. We enjoyed dinner and breakfast at the main building. It was not included in the room charge but very tasty. There is no pool or a fitness but it isn't necessary. You rather enjoy the surrounding area by exploring different hiking trails. Around the hotels there are a lot of deers. We have seen some quite near. For a loge the Wuksachi Loge is quite comfortable and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a good nights sleep at the Sequoia Nat. Park.

The Wuksachi Lodge starts with a warm check-in by friendly staff. The location is amazing--- wake up in the morning and see a small group of deer grazing outside our window! After a day of seeing the giant sequoias and hiking, come back for a comfortable dinner at the lodge's great dining room --- where the staff is gracious and helpful.

Room Tip: The rooms are located a short distance away from the lodge building. All rooms look into the forest...
