my husband and I went for a week last year and we have already planned for the next season. We had such a great time. Great service amazing views and a family friendly environment. We literally left our campsite, walked across the road and walked into the Rockies! Don't miss out on this exciting view and vacation.

We have spent at least one week and usually 2 weeks a year, for the last 23 years, at Estes park Campground. It is a place to relax, go hiking, fishing and just sit around. The showers are hot and the bathrooms are usually clean. Our children, and now our grandchildren are growing up with great memories of Estes Park and the surrounding area because we were able to stay at a reasonably priced, and family friendly campground. Even our dogs feel welcome! We will be planning our 24 trip out there later this summer after all the activities at home are over. It"s a great place to recharge our batteries!! We liked the campground so much, we stayed an extra week - the owners did their best to accommodate even after we changed our plans - they gave us some great advice on what to see in the park, where to by gas, groceries, etc. as well as where to see wildlife (elk, moose, sheep, deer) - they live right there during the summer and keep a safe, clean, quiet campground - some of the sites are fully wooded, others offer fantastic views of the surrounding mountains - you can hike into RMNP from their parking lot (can't get much closer than that) the restrooms and showers were cleaned several times a day and the showers were hot (though we, like most families, were up early so that we could spend as much time as we could in the park) Those who don't like children and want to sleep in late after enjoying the nightlife in town probably won't enjoy this campground as much as we did.

I was really looking forward to my trip out to Estes Park, CO. We picked what appeared to be a nice campground, and hauled our pop-up camper all 2,000 miles to enjoy the serenity of Estes Park. All of the sites were on top of each other, so there was no privacy, and barely enough room to breathe. I should've paid more attention, because we didn't realize the quiet hours were only until 7am. Every morning, by 7:30am, there were a half dozen children screaming at the playground, which was 30 ft from our site. There was no hot water in the men's bathroom's, so my boyfriend took a cold shower everyday. By the end of the week, the lack of sleep had worn thin on us both, so we decided to pack up early and find a nice hotel. The staff was beligerent when we tried to explain to them our problems with the campground, and they refused to refund us any money. Word of advice, stay away from this place if you want to enjoy your camping experience.
