This was a major disappointment. The food was cold and the service slow. We had to wait 15 minutes to send back the food. We ordered the special, fish, and it was just out of the microwave! They seem to specialize in presentation but it is not that great. It was a terrible waste of time and money.

we enjoyed 2 German dishes that were fabulous - sauerbrauten and beef strogenauf that had been marinated for 10 days, the carrot soup was renowned around town. deserts were beyond belief. and portions that are 2 meals each. very resonable too. and excellent wine/beer on tap. best meal we had on Olympic peninsula...

When you come in your like to be greeted by his wife who is an outstanding hostess. the food is always the best available, with fresh fish being delivered overnight. Try the homade Icecream that usualyy includes fresh berries from the nowrthwest. The wine list is very good alonf with a good selection of beer. You can usualyy find Paulaner on tap here. The husband and wife team with some very personable employees and chefs to be remind me of the old country. There is no snobbery here just old wolrd dedication. Make reservations. One of the finest and most friendly places I've ever been to.
