“Nice but limited.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2012

Limited access really - nice view of the Pacific and the Rock formations, and driftwood. If I was going to do this trip again i might skip this side road.

“Wild and Beautiful”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 30, 2012

Short walk through old-growth forest to a wild and beautiful beach. Look for bald eagle perched in the snags above the shoreline. For lighthouse lovers, there is a very distant view of the Destruction Island Light.

“Stunning, Even in the Mist”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 28, 2012

A friend and I visited Ruby and Rialto Beaches as part of our trip to the peninsula. While the water was too cold to swim in, and the fog/rain sort of made it a not-so-nice day, the beach was still absolutely stunning. Really, really amazing.

“One of the most beautiful beaches I've ever seen”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2012

This was one of our favourite places in our two-week Oregon and Washington holiday. The rock formations, the wide-angle view, the cliffs, the crashing surf, the pastel stones (not pink / ruby as far as I could see, but very pretty anyway!) – it all added up to something really remarkable.

“Striking views of Haystacks and Driftwood”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 28, 2012

An easy stroll down a path through the woods leads you to the beach of perfect skipping stones next to the mouth of the creek that empties into the sea. And there are "haystack" rock formations of various sizes and abundant driftwood that makesthe whole particularly picturesque
