This is just the kind of place we like, close and secluded. Although it snowed about 1meter everyday, the owner was out plowing to make sure guests could get in/out safely. We enjoyed the Bonfire, hot chocolate and smores! And some fresh baked cookies in the rec room when the power went out. Great sledding on the hill behind the resort. Definately want to bring your robe and flip flops to get to this pool (not as hot as the one on White Pass).Crystal Mtn is fantastic, looks brand new and nearly a ghost of a station (from Sierra perspective)--super first chair lift experience for my 6 year old.
This is a great place for a single family, but this is not the place for family reunions. It would have been an above average experience if the staff had not scared us off when we reserved and every time we called with a question saying that no outside guests were allowed. We had family we told not to make the trip up because of it and found out that the space and beds available were sufficient and that they allowed at extra charge for additional people to stay in their contract. Needless to say, this left a bad taste in our mouth about the place. We're looking into Mission Ridge for next time.
