“Well worth visiting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 12, 2012

This gallery features art both large and small but all by Hawaii artists. The selection is unique and carefully selected for artistic merit and appeal to visitors and local residents. Park fees apply but since you are in the park anyway there is no additional cost. The recent addition of a gallery in Volcano Village next to the administration building for the Art Center is also worth a visit.

“Volcano Art Center”

We loved this art gallery, so many different styles of art and all beautiful. It's very hard to leave there without a package in your hands!
The building is old and rustic, beautiful!

“Lots of walking to see the Lava tubes, but worth it.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2012

You can just drive around the park. However, much of the magic of the park will be lost if you do not do some hiking. The best part of the park was walking down through the rain forest to the lava tubes and walking through and back up through the forest. The craters are numerous and there is lots of driving if you wish to see it all. Well worth the visit.

“Super warm and inviting”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 22, 2012

We stopped at the gallery for a cup of coffee and some shopping. The owner was so warm, chatty, and inviting. The gallery carried a wide and inspired variety of arts at various prices. Our whole family just loved the place, the atmosphere, and the people!
