“A lot of fun”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2009

We did the Haleakala tour. None in my party had ever ziplined before but we had heard about it and were very excited. We met at the little office on the way up to the volcano and got our helmets and harnesses on with the help of our 2 guides. We got a quick safety lesson and then we hiked to the ziplines for about 5 minutes. The ziplines progress from short to long, so it was a great introductory experience. Along each zipline, the guides explained about birds and plant life that were indigenious to Hawaii. In addition to the 5 ziplines, there is also a suspension bridge that you walk over and was actually more enjoyable than I expected. The last zipline is pretty high up and long and they let you just ride on it back and forth for a little bit until they get you down with a ladder. It was nice because you really got to look down and around at everything. We then got in van and drove a short distance back up to the office.

The guides we had were entertaining, good-humored, and made you feel comfortable. It was a fun time! My only qualm would be that it can be a little tricky at first on learning to steer so sometimes you started thinking more about steering yourself in straight than taking the thrill all in.

“Kaanapali Zipline tour - AMAZING!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2009

It is no wonder why so many people say this was the highlilght of their vacation. you can snorkel, scuba, snuba, sail, hike, eat, whatever... this is an ADVENTURE! I can see almost anyone being afraid of a zipline, but the guides are amazing. They remove the fear an replace it with humor and compassion for those who need it.

Our guides were Bryan (a Twitter Junkie) and Casey. There were awesome! I love those guys, tey really made the trip special. "Remember - Safety third!!" was their motto, but I assue yu safety is their top priority. Both class acts to be sure. The views of the ocean and mountains combined with the rush of the moment and the excellent tour guides make this a MUST DO. Trust me, call now and book your spot - there is a huge waiting list and for a great reason!

“Great time!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 21, 2009

My husband, 2 teenage daughters and I enjoyed the day going to the summit of Haleakala, taking a little hike intot the crater, and ziplining. It was soooo much fun! None of us has ever done anything like this, and we all had such a good time! Everyone in the group that was with us was inexperienced, and seemed to be comfortable with this after being well coached by the 2 leaders, Mike and Brad(?). We took the 3 pm. tour, and the weather was nice. We wore long pants and fleece jackets and were comfortable. I would have been chilly in shorts. The higer altitude makes a big difference in temperature. We also wore tennis shoes/hiking shoes. They got dusty, but they rinsed off just fine. The best experience is the final zip!! Fun!

“Skyline Adventures - highlight of our trip.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2009

June 4 - June 15 ,2009 - our second trip to Maui. We wanted to try something different and had a great experience. Brian and Ryan were both entertaining and hilarious!! I struggled a bit and they certainly try their best to ensure you are confident and have fun - even though they left me "stranded" - what a great time!! Thanks guys.

“Great experience for all ages”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 1, 2009

We just finished the West Maui ziplines, and had a tremendous time. We were a group of 5, 2 over 50's, and 3 20 year old boys. We had a great time. Ryan and John were fun and made us feel safe (though they like to hide in bushs :). We would definitely recommend this as a part of your Maui experience (though do a expect a very bumpy ride up in vans), but the views are killer!!!!
