“Terrible Tour”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed May 26, 2014

First, let me start off by saying that Sedona and the Grand Canyon are incredible places and definitely must sees when visiting Arizona. The Pink Jeep tour, on the hand, was terrible. My mother and I booked the tour from Scottsdale to the Grand Canyon based on the description on their website. It was the worst tour I have ever been on. The guide was just awful. She told us virtually nothing about Arizona and talked about herself for 13.5 hours...13.5 hours of hearing about what kind of food she likes, her dental problems, her ex-husband, and her sobriety. There were 9 of us on the tour and we all felt the same way.

The description of the tour mentioned that it stopped in Sedona and it did. However, we drove right by the big red rock formations that everyone wanted to take pictures of (the guide even said "hey look that's the most photographed rock in Sedona" and then drove right by it). Instead of stopping where we wanted to the guide dropped us off at a coffee shop owned by the Pink Jeep Tour Company. So instead of stopping where the customers wanted she dropped us off so we could spend money at their store!

At the beginning of the tour we were given the option of a boxed sandwich lunch or eating at a restaurant at the grand canyon. We chose the restaurant and when we got to the grand canyon the guide then told us that the restaurant was really slow and would take the entire hour and a half we were allotted at the grand canyon to eat there! Thanks for telling us that when you gave us the option!

The tour description also mentioned a stop at the Double Eagle Trading Post which we never stopped at. The only stop on the way back was at a gas station with a Wendy's attached to it. It was dinner time so everyone got some food from Wendy's to go. The guide then told us that the greasy food made her want to puke.

I would not recommend this tour company to anyone ever, being stuck in a van with the a very annoying person for 13.5 hours was just too much.

Do yourself a favour and go with another company or rent a car.

“Disappointing”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 26, 2014

Although our guide Frank was friendly and knowledgable the jeep tour took you nowhere you couldn't access yourself either by car or the shuttle bus from the airport.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 20, 2014

We booked the Grand Canyon via Sedona tour from Phoenix. We we gone for about 13 hours so a very long day. Our tour guide John was awesome. Would recommend this tour however be aware that 80% of the tour is driving.

“Good Views But Could Have Been Better”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed May 17, 2014

While the overall experience was enjoyable, there was very little provided that we had not already seen on our own. We took the "sunset" package and basically saw everything that we had already seen the previous night driving around by ourselves. The tour took us no where special nor to to any spot "off-limits" to the general public. While the guide, Jennie, did have a couple of stopping points with good views, there is no shortage of those. The only thing she contributed were a repertoire of off-color jokes. She did not seem to pick up on the fact that her guests were not laughing at her jokes. She should read her audience better.

“Great guide”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 15, 2014 via mobile

I flew into Grand Canyon national park and was greeted by Jennie who was to be our guide, Jennie took us out and showed us some awesome sights, We thankfully got to the park early morning so the crowds were at a minimum and getting around was really easy. Thanks to Jennie and Pink Jeeps for a great day
