“memory for lifetime”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 17, 2013

We spent 3 weeks travelling around in California, Arizona, Utah and Nevada visiting amazing places but there is no question that the helicopter tour over the Grand Canyon was the highlight of our journey. It was so amazing that I cannot find words to describe it. Leaving the Kaibab Forest and having the first glance of the Canyon I felt that I'm on the verge of crying as it was so impressive and touching.
I believe this is the only way to feel truly how majectic and grandiose this natural wonder is.
Even though it's rather pricey I would highly recommend it to everyone. Seeing the Grand Canyon from a helicopter is a must!

“Flight time MISLEADING”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed January 21, 2013

They FAIL to mention in their advertising that the preflight safety film, everyone on your flight posing for pictures and approx. 8-10 minutes both ways flying over forest is INCLUDED in your 45-50 minute flight. When us and another couple questioned it they brushed us off. A manager even came out of a back office and just listened while his desk girl fielded our displeasure. Then they want to sell you your picture for $20 at the end of the flight. Pass needless to say. Flew very high so could not see well, pilot did not say very much or switch sides so everyone could see the Colorado River, you could not see very well from the back middle seat and you have to listen to the narration in 2 other languages. For the money I was not impressed. Wished we had taken the flight over Sedona instead. I also thought the South rim at Bright Angel Trail was prettier than what we flew over.

“You MUST see the Grand Canyon by helicopter!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 13, 2013

We were staying nearby so it didn't take us long to get there. On arrival we were weighed and checked in. We chose to pay the additional upgrade to sit in the front seats. We were shown the safety video and relaxed in the waiting area before our flight. At our designated flight time (or there abouts) we were led out to the loading area. We waited until it was safe to do so, when we taken in front of the helicopter for a photo. Our pilot introduced himself and made us feel welcome. We had chosen the "Majestic" tour and was approximately 30 minutes long. Words cannot describe the views you can experience from this helicopter tour. It's amazing!!! Everything about this tour was very professional. Would recommend it to anyone.

“Big Disappointment!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed December 26, 2012

We recieve a call at the hotel at 4:40 AM for confirmation and telling us that we will be pick-up at 5:50 AM, the bus did not arrive until about 6:10 AM. We then went to the check-in center (their office) and there was a guy there giving proper disclosure on what is going to happen on the tour. He was pretty clear that we will have a stop over at the national geographic center for lunch then to the grand canyon. But what happened is that our bus driver did 2 stop over #1 at Kingsburg,AZ which he called on the 5 star retaurant but it was just MC donald's then #2 at the foot os the road to the canyon to help the other bus that got broken. We had upgraded the tour with a helicopter ride only to find out when we reach the airport that we can't be accomodated anymore because we reach there at 2PM and we were supposed to be there before 2PM. Very disappointed because we were already set for that day weeks before, save money for the helicopter ride, and asked for days off from work but come that day no helicopter ride and the thing of it is that it was not our fault. It was supposed to be a package but it seem like there is no communication between the bus driver and the whoever to tell him that we need to be there before 2 PM. What I don't understand is why the driver has no take so many unscheduled stops. If there was supposed to be a time we need to be at the airport we should have been told to get the first bus that left earlier.
Now, my kids will remember for the rest of there lives that Christmas 2012 was the day that then anticipates there helicopter ride but did not happen.

“Expensive but worth it”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 13, 2012

We did the 20 minute ride from the heliport at the Grand Canyon and got some spectacular view. We were in the smaller helicopter with the bubble nose. The kids sat up front and thoroughly enjoyed it. Will remember it for a long time.
