“lovely cabin and good scenery”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2012

Well, it's a lovely and cozy place.
It is by the creek :D and has fire place at the river bank. Good scenery!
The cabins are pretty cute. Ours has 2 queen beds and a small table with coffee machine there. But no more other goodies.
The restroom is clean. The heater though, it's not very efficient though, which made us chilling there for quite a while. And it's really cold in Sep there.
We had dinner there, it's ok, no surprise. And they offer to-go breakfast, but it's silly of us that we had coffee to go the night before... and there's no microwave in cabin. When we ordered.. we didn't think of it... but guess they can find a way to improve on that...
We left early in the morning for shuttle, but I guess if i'm there next time, i'd love to stay there again, bc it's lovely inside and i'd hope for relax around the fireplace along the creek. :D

“Unique and cozy little restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2012

We stayed at the cabins here and dined several times. Loved the pork chili - a must try! Also, the baked goods are excellent and they will pack a lunch for you when heading out for your hikes! Really good, affordable food served by an excellent staff! Charming place.

“Great food, stopped twice here during our trip!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 14, 2012

We had both breakfast and dinner at this restaurant. Both were very good and the prices were average for this area. We had the same waiter both visits (Adam) and he was an awesome waiter. We were travelling in an RV, and there is easy parking for Rv's as well as passenger cars. One odd thing was that when my fiance asked where the restrooms were, he was directed out the front door and around back. At first I thought he had to go use an outhouse, but, NO, the restrooms were located around back. They were very nice and clean too. Very nice restaurant. Would definately recomment this restaurant.

“Best breakfast place in Alaska”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 9, 2012

We ate here 4 mornings in a row during our stay in Alaska. We particularly liked the apple/pecan pancakes and the reindeer sausage. The service was fantastic - always there to refill coffee. Staff was quick to share their favorite places in the park and recommend activities. Food was fresh and piping hot. We ordered the backpacker lunch to go to take on the Denali bus tour - ham and cheese sandwich on hearty bread, chips, cheese & crackers, fruit, fresh baked cookie and drink for $12 was a great deal compared to other nearby options. Really, it was enough food to split between 2 people.
We saw a lot of regular locals in this place - doesn't that say enough.
