The fact that the place mats (paper) say "McKinley National Park" and "Katmai National Monument" on the map of Alaska (and they sell them for $1) tells you all you need to know - this place is out of the 1970s and hasn't changed (because it doesn't care). Slow service, average food, uninspired menu. The patio deck does have nice views - perhaps worth a beer and an appetizer but thats it. The fact that this place has the nerve to put $45 Crab legs on its menu is laughable - this is a 'diner/dive bar' style restaurant. Wait an hour for a burger - no problem! Better food is available elsewhere: Denali Park Visitor Center restaurant, 229 Park, the Perch... Make an effort to find a better place.
