“Photos won't capture the experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 25, 2014

The heat, the wind, the colours, the (relative) serenity ... it's amazing to see how much variety there is in a condensed footprint of old seabed / sediment. If you have polarised sunglass lenses, take them off and turn them around as you look at the colours to see even more variance. It's an easy sealed road (in a one way loop) to get there if you're driving to bad water basin - the lowest point.

“The color of Van Gogh”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 29, 2014

The name obviously speaks for itself. it's a huge palette with all different colours on it. You see the colour of Van Gogh all around. Don't miss this place.

“Worth seeing”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2014

This is a one way drive off the main road but is tarmacced and very pretty. Our photos do not do it justice. Parts of the road look like a moonscape
