Lowest point in North America, pretty cool! Great motorcycle ride to get there, feel like you are going to drive into the moutains.

It's an cool icy feeling! Yes, It looks icy cold but it's not hard frozen lake. It's a prehistoric flat lake that is -286 below sea level.

This is the classic Death Valley spot--lowest in the US. It is pretty amazing when you walk out there and look around. (Be sure to look back towards the road where the sign is posted up on the rock face indicating sea level (and how far below it you are)!

“Salt fields”

Wow, you walk out on a boardwalk that is -282 ft below sea level and then you can walk out onto the salt. It is so thick that it looks like snow.
