“Magnificent! - You can avoid the crowds!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 13, 2013

On the recommendation of the rangers at the visitors center , we concentrated on Delicate Arch, Landscape Arch and Windows. Here's some thoughts!
Delicate Arch - we started this fairly strenuous hike (uphill for 45 - 60 minutes - an option is the less strenuous viewpoint hike) at 6p. The light was terrific, we got great photos and there were maybe 30 - 40 people there getting ready for sunset. As we hiked down at 7:45 there were hoards of people heading up for the sunset picture so you need to decide what is important to you - viewing with the few or sunset with the hundreds!

Landscape, Pine Tree & Tunnel Arches - We were there at 7:45a on a Sunday and not only was it perfect light, there were very few people on the trails!
Windows - we enjoyed this area as well but be warned - by 10a the buses and the non stop line of cars were snaking in to the park.
Be an early bird - avoid the crowds - get incredible photos and avoid the the heat of day!

“Great Playground”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2013

Spent 3 days hiking around and photographing the park. Went during spring break so it was busy, but still found parking without to much trouble. Evenings were great, not as busy, air was still and clear. Planning on a return trip sometime.

“One of the best of the National Parks”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 12, 2013 via mobile

Arches National Park offers some of the most dramatic scenery of any location in the country. The entry road is a good preview of things to come. The road rises dramatically off the valley floor and takes the visitor into another world. Spectacular monoliths and spires soar into the sky and complex geologic formations are a photographer's dream. We visited the Delicate Arch, the iconic image that adorns the Utah license plate, on a day when the weather was somewhat unpredictable. The 1.5 mile climb is quite strenuous and should not be undertaken lightly. A hair-raising ledge near the summit is actually comparatively safe, but not for the faint of heart. The view at the top is breathtaking, not only because of the view, but also the winds which buffet the ridge. The reward is a spectacular view of the arch and the deep canyon below. Other features in the park are less dramatic, but still of great scenic value and curiosity. Put this on your must-do list.

“Out of this world!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 11, 2013

This is a must see park if you are in Moab. My suggestion is to go early in the day and go to Landscape Arch first. This seams to be a popular Arch since it is the most photographed one. This is a busy park because of the easy access, but parking lots are on the small side and they fill up fast. April/May is a busy time, but well worth it. Enjoy!
