“Hidden dining treasure”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2014

We found this place through Trip Advisor and it was worth the 10 minute drive from Palmas del Mar. The street address should be calle de morina on google maps otherwise you will never find the place. The Mofungo with lobster was great and the Lobster chowder is nothing like the American version of chowder. Staff was very helpful with our attempts at Spanish to order dinner.

“Great Local Setting on the Beach. Fantastic Seafood.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 3, 2014

Went to Frentemar Sea Food for a business lunch on the beach. Seafood salad was excellent, enjoyed the salmon & sweet plantains as well. Great service (owners visible to guests.) The scenic view of the ocean is the best in humacao.

“Bad Experience”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed February 16, 2014

We visited here on a sat night no very crowded but many locals were here having a meal, i guess there options are very limited. It is really the only restaurant in the area so we gave it a try after reading the reviews and considering we rented a house a half a block away. Not good,,first they got my wife's order wrong,no biggie but they gave her a seafood mofungo 22.00 and she ordered the shrimp 16.00 really not worth sending it back considering they dont speak English and are very slow.It was bad, octopus 1 shrimp and some other unidentifiable seafood, just getting the shrimp would have probably not been that bad.I had the rice with lobster, some yellow rice and a few pieces of dried out lobster meat, very plain, nasty really and a side of fried plantains.I see no reason to visit here at all,if you could find it, especially considering the location,a TV with Shakira concert playing on it was the highlight of the evening ;)

“Hidden gem in Punta Santiago,Humacao”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 22, 2014

It is a sad case of development where this restaurant is hidden away from diners who are looking for a good meal. The new highway must have affected the business. Otherwise I would certainly recommend anyone looking for a nice meal of seafood in Humacao town. It was a challenge itself to look for the restaurant. Service is a little slow but it is really worthwhile....
