“friendly staff and clean bathrooms”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 2, 2014

we went there for our company outing and it was nice. we came in around 5am and at that time sunrise was just about to come in and yet they were already ready to accommodate us. Although we were able to check in at our rooms around past 12 noon, they provided a room for us to put in our things so we can explore the whole resort. it is ideal for group and family vacation because of the amenities they are offering, they have billiards, game boards (chess), volleyball and other activities you can avail. each room has a huge wide tv, and clean bathrooms which i really like. although there are a lot of huge mosquitoes so better bring some repellants. the beach was clean as well, and you can also buy some fresh fish from a local fishermen at a very low price like a yellow fin tuna for Php160.00 for 2 kilos (good buy yeah!).
THe staff were also very nice and will do as much as they can to accommodate our requests. The food i would say is not spectacular but it was ok, and fulfilling for us.

Room Tip: wilson stonehouse is best, it has a veranda with ref and overlooking the pool area. Not much mosquit...

We went here to celebrate my birthday with my husband and 2 kids and I'd recommend this place to my friends especially for those who have kids. There's a lot of things to do within the resort aside from swimming and watching the beach. We especially enjoyed lounging on the hammocks and my 5 year old enjoyed the playground. Potipot island is just 5mins away and the resort offers speedboat ride complete with insurance. They can bring your lunch there and can pick you up anytime you want. Service is good. We checked in early without extra charge. We requested to have the food we brought from outside heated and there was no problem too. The resort is having some construction when we were there so it was a bit noisy when we were near the construction site. Food in the restaurant is a little pricey though but tastes good too. Overall, it was a great experience for us.

Room Tip: Rooms are spacious and clean. We stayed in one of the Japanese rooms and i love that there's a s...

My cousin and I were visiting family and wanted a spot to stay that felt like a higher end resort. I am so lucky to find this Potipot Gateway Resort that had a large, clean room with air conditioning, wi-fi, and a TV. The resort had a pool, ping pong, and a pool table.
The staff was helpful and if they did not have what we wanted they would buy it in town.
The food was delicious and the portions were just right.
Be mindful, to enter the resort you will need walk on a rickety bridge and the resort has parking on the other side of bridge.
I had trouble paying the down payment that they wanted to be deposited in their bank account. I had to wire the money (from America) and had to pay an extra fee. I wish they had Paypal or an easier way to guarantee the room.

We stayed at Potipot Gateway Resort for our Family outing. We are 7adults and 1 kid. Reservation is a bliss. And the reservation officer is even kinf enough to give me more than a week I think to settle the reservation. The resort is like a vacation house in the province lots of beautiful flowers plants and trees plus animals like peacock and doves. The place is rrally quiet. The staff are all friendly and they just let us pretty much whatever we pleases. Before going to potipot island we drop by the local market to buy ftesh seafoods to bring to the island. We bought too much that we have so mamy leftovers. And the resort staff allowed us to eat it and not order food in their resto as long as we dine within our room which has a front porch.the next morning they even allowed my dad to cook and helped him prepare breakfast.

The resort also has a nice pool that they clean everyday. On our first morning I wanted to enjoy the pool but it is still not ready and the staff that it will be ready by 10am. So i just stroll around the resort. When they have finished cleaning the pool they even went to our room and told ua the the pool is ready. Such really nice staff.

Last June we went here for a short vacation. They have really good service, even if we arrived at 12 midnight they still entertained us happily to our rooms and everything was arranged and prepared even before we arrive there. The staff though during breakfast were lacking however they were all friendly so we didn't mind much. It is also a very cozy resort however during our stay there it was raining during the night so the cable and the internet was scrambled from time to time. But they were able to fix it the next day. Best overnight stay and bump off to potipot island. You can request them to bring you there anytime and you can even ask them to make you lunch to be sent to the island so that you could eat there. It was truly a good family vacation place.

Spent an overnight stay in this resort last July 6-7, 2013.

I must say, best-jump off point to Potipot Island. Resort was very clean, staff very polite, food- the best. got a complementary breakfast for the overnight stay. Speed boat ferry guest to the island for a minimal fee. A good family vacation place in Candelaria Zambales

Room Tip: Request for the newly built rooms though the older ones are still in top shape.

this lovely and cozy resort will just blow your mind away. first and foremost, bring your nerve before crossing the bridge. if you've never been in the military to train and cross rope bridges, potipot gateway bridge will give you the fright. second, bring your empty stomach so it can be filled with the tasty food and what potipot gateway restaurant has to offer. and thirdly, i will recommend to stay in riverside room. so, without further delay, i command you to book your reservation and ready for a fun-filled excitement.

Room Tip: get the riverside room.
