“Truly wonderful place”

Would recommend this place to all you dog lovers, Bob & Jackie make us all very welcome, not only was the breakfast awsome for us , but sausage brekkie for the dogs went down well to. I would recommend this place & the area to all you dog lovers. as just up the road is the Castle Inn which also makes you feel at home with the dogs. West Lulworth is a truly wonderful place

I spoke to Jackie on the phone to explain that my partner was blind. She explianed the layout of the cottage and the possible difficulties. There was no problem and we managed fine. The accommodation was as described and the welcome was warm. The breakfast set you up for the day and my dog was not left out as he enjoyed the sausages Jackie gave him. If you are looking for good accommodation, a warm welcome in a beautiful part of the country this is the place for you.

I would also make mention of the Castle Inn to dog lovers. We ate there 2 nights and not only was the food good but our dog was made welcome..

My husband & I came here last October with one of our dogs - Persie. We told our children- who are 22 & 18 how wonderful this B & B was, they thought we were exaggerating so came along this time to form their own opinion. Jackie & Bob welcomed us like long lost friends. Our rooms were spotless and nothing is too much trouble for our hosts. The breakfasts are superb. I challenge any body to eat all that is on offer. Jackie & Bob made us all feel really at home, especially our dog & I would recommend this place to any one - although I do not think it is suitable for young children as the stair cases are steep and the large pond in the rear garden. The area is beautiful - thatched cottages, stunning coastal walks & fantastic views. Our children were impressed by our accommodation, the breakfast & our hosts. We will be going back very soon -

What can we say - have just returned from a 4-night stay in the Tewkesbury - the hosts were just fantastic - very welcoming and absolutely loved our dogs. If you stay here, you can forget lunch - the breakfast is the biggest we've ever seen and the dogs even had sausages too. A complete hidden gem of a place for a stay-over. Absolute perfect place to stay if you want walking distances to Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door and coastal walks. Particularly if you are a dog owner - they are more than welcome. Stayed in many places over a period of time but this has to be the most welcoming and good nights sleep had by all - especially the very tired doggies! Most of all, the owners Jacqui and Bob were wonderful - people you meet and you feel as if you've known them for years! Thanks for a tremendous stay!

Room Tip: Great for dog owners location perfect very comfy

what a hidden GEM. As soon as we arrived, Jackie & Bob made us feel welcome. This welcome was also extended to our dog- a large German Shepherd called Persie. From this moment, until we left, nothing was too much trouble for our hosts to make our stay perfect. The room was clean, bed comfortable & lots of hot water. The breakfast was a work of art-absolutely fantastic., Persie also got 2 sausages each morning. We will be going back very soon. This is an exceptional B&Band is very popular for people holidaying with their dogs.

Spent a lovely weekend with a couple of friends and our dogs in this beautiful typical 400 year old cottage. The bathroom and shower rooms were spotless and our beds were made whilst out on our morning stroll to the cove. The breakfast meant we didnt require lunch and the dogs loved their sausage and apple provided once we had eaten our breakfasts. We didnt enjoy the best of the english summer, having storms and a lot of rain but the welcome and hospitality from Jackie and Bob more than made up for the damp weather. Thouroughly enjoyable stay, thankyou both .. Lesley from Westbury and Ellie the ham stealing pooch !!
