We just stopped for something to eat as it was such a lovely location. The landlord was very friendly and we were seated say) at a wooden table near the window - it was a lovely position and we watched people coming and going. We had a starter each (1 scallops and 1 prawns) and we shared both the dishes, which were very flavoursome and beautifully cooked. Both main courses were very good too. As for the overall place, it had rustic charm but felt that it needed a few little extra touches (the napkins (brown with sort of white flecks) which seemed to have been through the washing machine hundreds of times left a lot to be desired and it just seems as if a bit more colour and finishing touches wouldn't go amiss. Having said that, the food was good and was not overpriced.
