We stayed here on our slow way North from the Dordogne. It is close enough to the main routes to be handy but it is still a world away from hustle and bustle. It is well maintained, well run and just what a small hotel should be.
The rooms are not large but are well equipped, including efficient air conditioning, and are perfectly adequate. The welcome and service is warm and relaxed. Dinner is served for residents only and comprised a starter, choice of two mains and then a choice of dessert. The food was excellent and as it was a warm evening most guests ate outside on the terrace.
The new pool looked inviting. This is a hotel that we will go out of our way to stay at again, next time for more than one night so that we can explore the area.
