5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2012

For our third stay in Puglia, I finally wanted to explore the Trulli area and found that the experience would be complete, especially for the kids, if we stayed in a trullo too. That's why I chose this B&B over some others in the area, and over some hotels that were even less expensive. First, I was somewhat disappointed when seeing our room as it was only partly in a trullo, then more and more happy with it as it had the best view over the grounds and valley. Moreover, the charm was there, and it was spotlessly clean and very spacious.
Only downside of the room: It was quite warm inside, because it had been extremely hot the days before our arrival and there's no airco.
Breakfast was served on the peaceful terrace with view over the pool and town of Casalini, and all was delicious and fresh.
The hosts are so friendly you would come back just for them, and you feel as welcome as with good friends - no 5 star hotel can compete with this.
Next to the beautiful trulli, the Antica Aia offers its guests a stunning pool, and when you're lying next to it in the warm Italian sun, you think of one word that sums it all up......Paradise!

Francesco and Elvira are wonderful hosts and serve a delicious breakfast.

The trulli accommodation is wonderful - there are only 5 trulli therefore it never feels crowded, particularly as you have your own outside space with chairs and a table. The trulli have been carefully restored to a high standard with free wifi.

Views from the pool across the olive laden trees to Casalini are great, as is the walk around the nearby lanes and fields.

It is only a 10 minute walk into Casalini, where you will find a good selection of restaurants.

The location is perfect for visiting Martina Franca, Locorotondo, Cisternino and Alberobello.

Francesco and Elvira made our stay absolutely perfect, the breakfasts were delicious and our trulli was beautiful. There are about 5 trullis, each with their own outside space to relax in, which was really lovely as we used the facilities in the trulli to make dinner a few nights and sat outside. Everything is immaculate, Francesco works non-stop and even brought us some of his favourite wine. The swimming pool is stunning looking out over the countryside. Thank you Francesco and Elvira for a great stay.

It doesn't get much better than this. Located on a sligh knoll overlooking the village of Casalini (Cisternino) Five ground level apartments in the local form of a Trulli. Wifi available for free. Great breakfast put on by Elvira.
Very quite and relaxing in or outside on the chairs, table, hammock and and as of May 2012 the new installed outdoor pool.
Use this location to tour the rest of the Itri Valley and the beaches on the Adriatic. One of the best B&B's in Puglia.

Franceso and Elvira were terrific hosts. There are 5 rooms, but we were given the biggest BB& with 3 bedrooms and a full kitchen for the regular price! Wifi is available from the hammock outside. A gentle breeze is always blowing, Walk in to the village of Casalini, just a few km from Cisternino. One of the best B&B in Puglia!
Joe and Carol Ursano - Canada

Room Tip: all rooms are good and especially if you have never spent a night in a trulli.
