My husband and myself quite enjoyed our stay. I booked a room on ground level or to have access by elevator, we were put in room up two flights of stairs! Problem number two was that most of the rooms were situated in various buildings spread around the grounds and as it rained during our visit we were soaked on two occasions going into the main building for meals, felt a bit like Butlins holiday camp. Information about the hotels facilities were non existant and only realised they had a health spa, chapel and bar area on our last day. The staff were professional and friendly, all spoke good English and were very obliging. Food was typical of the region and the kitchen produced very nice dishes. We found a lovely little wine bar a few hundred yards down the lane as you turned right out of the Schloss's grounds, best coffee in Europe and charming owners.
I dont think we would return as we found the spread of the accommodation too fragmented, nonetheless it is a pleasant clean establishment with the usual high standards typical of German hospitality.
