This is a beautiful old house with a charming host. It oozes history and quirkiness. The breakfast is delicious and the room I was in was comfy and clean with plenty of tea, coffee and milk. The toiletries were of good quality and little touches like vanity items were welcome. Excellent value.

My wife and I have stayed here on a few occasions now. The building is full of quaint charm and steeped in history. The rooms as you would expect in a building this age are old but cosy and have the bonus of open fires with an unlimited supply of firewood.
The on site restaurant offers a adequate menu of well prepared food. The breakfast is lovely with a choice of continental or the full cooked breakfast. Beautiful grounds and gardens around the building. Value for money and a different experience. Great place to stop on the North coast for leisure or touring.

Arrived 20 30 hours Friday night.Very warm welcome by Richard. Left us to unpack.Very large family room with everything one would need.Went down to Drawing Room to be welcomed by lovely open fire. Evening meal available but opted for couple of glasses of wine,Goats cheese tartlet and sharing dessert platter - all lovely.Very comfortable nights sleep. Lovely array of buffet breakfast following morning followed by cooked breakfast. All plentiful.
Evening meal was delicious served by pleasant staff.Bteakfast second morning as before.
Overall a very pleasant stay and can't wait til my next visit.
Have been singing praises of Harmony Hill ever since.

Lovely family run hotel. First impression was I am going to feel uncomfortable here as very quiet and came across quite posh. We brought our dog so was even more worried but what a lovely surprise. The owners made you so welcome and the atmosphere was relaxing. Took our dog a small walk around the gardens, showered and had a few drinks in the very elaborate lounge (books, antique pieces, chess games) before an absolutely beautiful meal. Then retired to our room lit the fire and another few drinks. Had a lovely, relaxing stay and would recommend for a quiet, lovely food and peaceful time (with a game of chess thru in).

We very much enjoyed our first stay at Harmony Hill. The little country house can be described as a quaint, relaxing Irish country home. The owners, Richard and Trish, are most welcoming and leave you feeling that they are glad for you to visit their home and that nothing that you need is too much bother. Our bedroom was clean and cosy with a lovely open fire, already set for our arrival, at the foot of our bed. The food in Harmony Hill is first class. Beautifully and freshly prepared - you won't be disappointed. Breakfast choices included cereals, fresh fruit salad, stewed fruit, yoghurts, toast, cooked options (including a great Ulster fry) and juice, water, tea or coffee to drink. Harmony Hill has lovely gardens which you can enjoy a walk around. Perfect location to enjoy a relaxing break and close to the beautiful North Coast. I'm sure, like us, you won't be disappointed.

Last visited 10 years ago, and it is just as good now as it was then. Very nice room which accommodated 2 adults and 3 children. They put on a very nice dinner for us and visiting friends. Piano. Open fires. Great breakfast. Highly recommended all round.

Room Tip: Family room has double bed + 3 singles on an upper floor.

Our 4th stay and it never disappoints, a friendly professional welcome from Richard. Dinner reservation made, then off to our room, one of the the unique selling points is an open fire in your room, which when lite creates an instant atmosphere, the property like the people has character and charm, dinner is outstanding and do not be tempted to eat anywhere else, a culinary delight, if this restaurant was in one of the costal towns you would not be able to get a table for 6 months, breakfast is another highlight. Please note that this is a period building and needs to be appreciated as such, a wonderful romantic hideaway from the real world. We will be back soon for our 5th stay in the near future
