went to peacock with my friends to see the place and try their food..we arrived late , around 3 pm..the manager introduced herself when we got down the car ,her name is Mel..it was not a warm welcome, while we checked on their restaurant and ask for the menu the waiter said its closed!! that is unbelievable..they charged us 500/pax for the entrace and they said it's consumable-but we have nothing to spend it with..
we decided to have a tour of the place because my friend is looking for the perfect venue for her morrocan wedding, Mel showed us around , but she is always in a hurry , and always looking at her watch ( as if we have a time limit ) and everytime we want to take some photos she always say its not allowed in that place/area..i was so pissed off when we checked the rooms, when we entered the rooms it was so hot..and a house keeper went in to turn on the AC , BUT Mel reprimanded the staff, and told her not to turn on the AC-IN FRONT OF US!! my friends were disgusted...that was the most rude manner in all resorts i've been... shame on the management of peacock resort to hire such employees...Is this what you call -LUXURY , when guests are treated like PEASANTS..i guess they have to change their name from Peacock to PEASANT RESORT..

I had sent email inquiry about the resort itself as they post beautiful pictures in the website. Unfortunately, i travelled to Philippines in March while i sent my email in February only to get a reply a month after. While my other friends took the risk of staying there, here are the comments i've got:
1.) You are in the middle of nowhere, its a resort few kilometers from the main road
2.) Its a total rip off, that German owner thought he would have the highest clientele not thinking people are being practical nowadays. I assumed only his friends wayback in Germany loves to stay there. Paying more than USD150 per night is stupid in a place where civilization is still about to boom. The only thing you got to do is sleep, go to the pool, talk to the birds the whole day and then sleep at night.
3.) Pay everything, while other resorts has offered some complimentary drinks.
4.) You got to pay an entrance fee for a friend who wanted to visit you..for what? unless there are interesting things to see inside, that i will agree to pay an entrance fee.
5.) Its like a high end motel. Rich people who wants to hide their mistress can definitely choose the place.

Choose resorts in Panglao Island, variety are there. Friendly people and totally not a rip of money. Lots of activities to do as well.

My husband and I went to The Peacock Garden for our honeymoon, and of course, like any other newly weds, we wanted our honeymoon to be an unforgettable and memorable experience. We came to Bohol, not knowing what to expect from the place, most especially the resort which we only saw from pictures and heard from our friends who recommended us to stay there. We were in awe when we arrived because the place is simply amazing. You get the feeling of being in Europe. The interiors were very European especially the restaurant which had a lot of personal memorabilia from the owner and antiques. The food was just fabulous, and the service staff were very well trained. Their spa's four-handed signature massage was our best Spa experience ever. We will definitely come back and recommend to our family and friends. It's a shame that The Peacock Garden is only found under Baclayon Hotels, because if it were under Bohol hotels, then it would be the number one in Bohol.

My husband and I and few family members went to peacock garden and we were greeted with courteous staff and the view was a sight to behold. The food was really good and the whole place was clean. We were treated like royalties and we will definitely go back to Peacock Garden.
