“A good hiding place from busy city”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 5, 2014

If you are looking for a hotel where you can enjoy the view, privacy and to escape the busy life in city, a paradise in Baclayon Bohol is waiting for you.

We avail the couples package for 3days and 2nights. An inclusion of van rental to/from airport where cold water and towel was offered as a refreshment hot friday afternoon. A set dinner for two was also included in package. You can choose your meal from entree to desert. The setup was so romantic that you really fall in love with the place.

The room is big enough for family or couple. The bathroom has its old touch of european style. The room on the second floor has a veranda where you can the infinity pool and the beautiful overlooking view of Baclayon Bohol.

They also have jacuzzi beside the pool where you can relax.

The rate is reasonable. Not congested so you can really enjoy their facility like the pool and other board and table games.

They also have spa. The place and facilities has a relaxing ambiance from private jacuzzi, massage and waiting area.

A must try hotel with a European Ambiance and style.

As mentioned by all the other reviewers, the rooms, amenities, and service are perfect; I agree with them fully. What stood out for me was that everything about the hotel screamed of exclusivity, from the imposing gate, high walls and layout of the property and rooms. There were signs all over asking to respect the privacy of other guests. The hotel is located in the outskirts of Baclayon town, accessible only by car or shuttle. Not an ideal location for sight seeing but great for relaxation as it is far from the town center. Walk ins are not allowed and all reservations need to be made beforehand. Outsiders can enter for a hefty 500 pesos / ~$11 each (amenities are exclusive for guests), but this is consumable at the restaurant or spa.

Absolute paradise. Peacock Garden is a beautiful place to leave your troubles behind. The grounds are perfectly manicured and the infinity pool is just stunning. We were greeted by friendly staff and handed a welcome drink as our bags were delivered to our room for us and were lucky enough to be one of the few couples visiting the resort at the time. We felt as though we had the whole place to ourselves. The rooms are elegant and very comfortable. We dined at the restaurant one night and had room service the next and both were equally delicious. The lovely receptionist organised a countryside tour of Bohol for us and we had our own tour guide and driver. The tour was just amazing and allowed us to appreciate the island even more. The complimentary transfer to and from the airport was an added bonus and was great we didn't have to worry about it. A truely beautiful and luxurious place to relax and unwind. Highly recommended for a romantic getaway!!

We loved our stay in this hotel, we usually swam in their beautiful lap pool and jacuzzi by ourselves. There are only few rooms and you only see few guests around. The view from the infinity pool to the sea is gorgeous. Dining is classy and the food delicious. I like their buffet breakfast because you order it before they cook, and truly delectable.
We played pool and table tennis in their play room. We had a fun time bonding with my children.
I would recommend this hotel for honeymooners and to everyone who desire class, quiet and relaxation.

Room Tip: The second floor room where we stayed was good.

The place is such a paradise. When we arrived, it feels like the resort was exclusively reserved for us. We see no other guests around. Perfect for couples who would want to spend their honeymoon in an exclusive place.
We also had a free breakfast apart from the free breakfast that is included on our accomodation because we have arrived at 10am to which breakfast is still being served.
The transfers were great. on our way to hotel, we were given cold towels and drinks to refresh.
The pool is best infinity pool ive ever seen. The staffs were nice.I love the Old Heidelberg's staffs! <3
This is the best hotel i've been soo far and looking forward to be here again :)

An amazing resort! This is pure luxury and the best hotel we have ever stayed in. It was so peaceful and beautiful. We were on our honeymoon and they gave us a beautiful welcome in our bedroom and even gave us a 'honeymoon cake' at dinner on the first night. The rooms are beautiful and very comfortable. The beds are the most luxurious beds I have ever slept in! The complimentary transfer to and from the airport was prompt and the driver was very polite. The pool is amazing and has the most amazing view out over to the sea. We didn't venture out for dinner so ate at the hotel both nights we were there and the food was excellent. The hotel is top class but be aware it is very European so if you are looking for local features you won't find these, what you will find is a beautiful, charming, heavenly place to hide away from the world and enjoy the beautiful scenery and sunshine of the Philippines. Thank you to all the staff who looked after us and made our stay so perfect.

Really awesome and private place! Great food, service, ambiance! Perfect for romantic getaways! Use of the spa is a must! The hotel has furniture from castles in Germany and the owner happens to love Dr. Jose Rizal!

Room Tip: Either a sea view or garden room will do!
