“Well worth the trip to Chalong Bay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 24, 2012

This restaurant came highly recommended to us and as we were staying in Kata Noi it was a short taxi trip to the restaurant. (BHT 500 each way but we negotiated and got it for BHT800 return and the driver waited for us)
We went at night and the ambiance was lovely.
We had excellent service by the waiters and all of the staff - they were superb.
The food was fantastic and we enjoyed a freshly cooked fish and tiger prawns.
The fish was to die for and the prawns were cooked to perfection (unlike other establishments that always overcooked them) and were the best we had eaten in Phuket.
Not cheap but still good value for a 'special' night out which is what we weer having.
As this was a special night for us we ordered a lovely bottle of wine which is always expensive in Phuket and this took the cost to A$120.00 for two of us but without doubt the best meal we had in Phuket Island.
Go at night because the setting is very pretty.
Enjoy!

“Romantic experience with fresh seafood”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 12, 2012

Nice spot next to the pier, helpfull staff (only the higher level staff could speak properly English), real fresh and well maintained seafood, romantic lights in the restaurant. Many choices of great dishes at the menu too.

“Fantastic!!”

Wonderful location and excellent value. We visited the restaurant twice during our three night stay. They have a good selection of thai foods and the service is great.

“Always good. A great destination meal.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2012

We have had many meals here and have never been disappointed. It is right on the water over looking the pier and Lon Island so very pretty and romantic if you want. The menu contains not just your normal Thai fare (try the crispy banana flower salad or smokey minced dried prawn dip!) so you can be a bit adventurous if you want. It is a bit more up market than most other places on the south east side of Phuket but not at all stiff so don't let that put you off. The price of the meal may reflect this too but its not crazy and the we think the quality of the dishes is also better than most other places so it makes sense. They have recently sublet (I think) part of their property to Vset so would recommend a drink in the Vset bar (which is very cool) and then dinner at KanEang.

“Delicious!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 14, 2012

Took us a while to find the place because we were driving up and down Viset Road and we should have just headed for the pier. Great Thai seafood - loved their mango salad and fried fish with lemon grass. Crabs were ok, not fantastic but the prawns were good!
