“Good for 1/2 day family outing (young and old)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 15, 2013

Good experience especially the elephant trekking. Staff are very friendly and knowledgeable. The place is well maintained and clean. However, be mindful about the items that they sell in the souvenir shop are much higher priced than other shops in the shopping malls.. easily 2 to 3 times.

“Thailand nature at its best”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 15, 2013

A must do when visiting Phuket! You end your day with a feeling of relaxation and harmony with nature. The elephant ride was amazing…a memorable experience! The canoe trip is almost like an afternoon visit to the spa…your senses become heightened as you float down the river…smells of nature, hearing the water flow, birds singing, the touch of the water on your fingertips as you glide along. The scenery is breathtaking with beautiful birds, lush landscapes, and the mountains in the foreground. My canoe guide knew just when to stop paddling so there was silence…to take it all in.
I had wished the elephant ride was a little longer, although it was 45 minutes, I just didn't want it to end. The tour included a tasty lunch with all you can eat Thai food. The guide was so helpful taking pictures for me of my daughter and me on the elephant. It appeared to me the elephants were well taken care of and a love and appreciation for the elephants was evident.

“Excellent activity, well worth the money”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 14, 2013

Did the 45 minute elephant safari which included a young elephant show where you got to feed (small fee) and take photos with them which was awesome. The trek itself was great and I was impressed with the fact that the guide took many photos along the way with our camera which was very much appreciated. The service was excellent including the transport too and from our Karon Beach hotel. The transport was on time, quick and cool. Overall a very memorable experience and would highly recommend to anyone!

“Enjoyable experience”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 14, 2013

We chose the 45 min trek with a mahout who spoke only a smattering of English, so it was quite cute when he pointed out items to take note of along the route, e.g. rubber, old tree.
We enjoyed the baby elephant show.
We chose this camp as there were no reviews of animal cruelty seen or experienced. I was informed after the excursion though that the animals still receive beatings but not in full view of customers. Sad fact, but as they are from the wild, there is no other choice, as they need to be trained. However, tourists can choose not to visit them altogether with this knowledge in hand.
I suppose the camps provide these gentle giants with food and shelter, which protects them from being left in the wild for predators who kill them for their selfish reasons.

“elephantastic”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed December 11, 2013

Have always loved elephants and was something I had to experience while in Thailand. Picked up from hotel in an open style bus which suited the safari. Didn't know what to expect for the day. The guides were super friendly, wi our guide had a great sense of humour and kept us entertained for our day. Started with coffee and green tea. Learned about rice fields. Coconut oil and how to make Thai curry paste from scratch. Rode elephants through picturesque landscapes. Was wowed by the baby elephants painting, playing soccer and playing harmonica. And finished with a tasty buffet lunch. One of the many highlights of my trip
